REASIONS & PREPARATION

Why These Directions Matter

1. Sedated Gastroscopy + Colonoscopy in One Visit

Both upper and lower digestive tract evaluated in a single anesthesia-assisted visit. Direct visualization catches what lab and ultrasound may miss.

2. Anesthesia-Assisted (Pain-Free)

Sedated gastroscopy and colonoscopy are performed under anesthesia — no pain, no discomfort, no awareness during the procedure. A 1–2 hour recovery room observation follows.

3. Polyp Removal Included (No Extra Charge)

If polyps are discovered during the procedure, they are removed and sent for pathology at no extra charge. Early removal prevents progression to malignancy.

4. H. Pylori Test (Rapid Urease)

A rapid urease test for H. pylori is performed during the gastroscopy — a common cause of gastric ulcers and gastritis, often asymptomatic in early stages.

5. Suitable For — Adults 40+ / Family History / Persistent GI Symptoms

Recommended for adults 40 and above, clients with family history of GI disease, or anyone with persistent symptoms (reflux, bloating, abdominal pain, change in bowel habits).

6. Bundling Rule — Must Be Bundled with a Flagship Package

Not available as a standalone purchase. Must be added to A·M, A·W, D, E, or F. This ensures a full executive baseline alongside the GI evaluation.

7. Service Layer — Bilingual Escort + Hotel Pick-up & Drop-off (Inherited from Flagship)

Inherits the service layer from the bundled flagship package. The same bilingual coordinator and hotel pick-up & drop-off apply to your endoscopy day.

Preparation

✓ Colonoscopy requires bowel preparation (detailed instructions provided after booking)

✓ Gastroscopy requires fasting and gastric preparation

✓ Combined procedure: 3-day gap required between sessions due to anesthesia recovery

✓ Fasting for 8 hours before gastroscopy

✓ No driving for 24 hours post-anesthesia — escort required

✓ Allow 4-6 hours on-site for preparation, procedure, and recovery

SERVICE PROCESS

Digestive endoscopy is arranged as an add-on to a flagship screening package and requires advance preparation, timing confirmation, and post-procedure support.

1. Add-on Confirmation

After your flagship package is booked, we confirm endoscopy availability, timing, preparation requirements, and whether the schedule needs to be separated from your main checkup day.

2. Preparation Guidance

Before the procedure, we send preparation reminders covering fasting, bowel preparation, medication-related questions to raise with the hospital, and post-anesthesia support.

3. Coordinator Assignment

A bilingual coordinator is assigned to your visit and confirms the meeting point with you through WhatsApp.

4. Hospital Procedure

At the hospital, your coordinator assists with check-in, endoscopy department navigation, anesthesia-related process coordination, and basic communication.

5. Return Transfer

After the procedure and required recovery observation are completed, we arrange your return transfer to the hotel or agreed location.

6. Report & Follow-up

When the hospital report is ready, we coordinate English report delivery and help arrange follow-up consultation if pathology, polyp-related review, or further digestive care is recommended.

    Product FAQ

Can gastroscopy and colonoscopy be completed on the same day?

    • They should not be presented as a same-day default arrangement.
    • Due to anesthesia, bowel preparation, gastric preparation and recovery considerations, a combined arrangement may require a multi-day schedule.

How long does combined endoscopy usually require?

    • A combined arrangement may commonly require around five days, such as colonoscopy on Day 1, rest and recovery in between, and gastroscopy on Day 5, depending on hospital assessment and scheduling.

Why does endoscopy require advance preparation?

    • Colonoscopy requires bowel preparation, gastroscopy may require fasting and gastric preparation, and painless endoscopy involves anesthesia-related assessment and recovery time.

How long does preparation usually take?

    • Each endoscopy-related preparation process may typically require 4-6 hours, depending on individual condition and hospital requirements.

Is painless endoscopy suitable for everyone?

    • Not always.
    • Suitability depends on hospital assessment, health background, medication use, allergy history and anesthesia-related factors.
