What is PET-CT?

PET-CT is an advanced imaging technique that combines positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT). It is an optional add-on and is not included in standard packages by default.

Is PET-CT suitable for everyone?

No. PET-CT is not suitable for everyone. Suitability is subject to hospital assessment. PET-CT does not detect all cancers and has known limitations.

Can I add PET-CT to any package?

No. No health screening or diagnostic tool can guarantee the detection of all diseases or cancers. PET-CT and tumor markers have known limitations.

Who makes medical decisions?

All medical decisions, including suitability assessment, anesthesia assessment, diagnosis and treatment decisions, are made by hospital physicians. FastMedChina does not direct or influence medical decisions.
